ABOUT US

Zahra Walji

 

Zahra Walji is a full-service Notary Public commissioned by the Supreme Court of British Columbia. She attended Simon Fraser University and completed her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Master of Arts in Applied Legal Studies. Her background in banking has provided her with a deep understanding of the procedures and requirements of various banks and lending institutions.

Zahra was born in Nairobi, Kenya and moved to Canada when she was 2 years old with her family as a business opportunity brought them to Vancouver. Zahra is proud of her heritage and speaks her native language, Gujarati. Zahra's hobbies include fitness and travelling.

Jacqueline Kinsey

With over 30 years of experience as a Notary, Jacqueline D. Kinsey is dedicated to providing professional and courteous service. Jacqueline takes the time to go over all the documents carefully and ensures you completely understand what you are signing. She does not want your paperwork to be a mystery to you! Understanding builds confidence, and confidence leads to satisfaction. Jacqueline prides herself on the relationships she builds with her clients, having had generations of families continue to use her services. She enjoys making sure every client receives personal level attention and service.

After decades of work as a trusted notary, Jacqueline is now semi-retired. Between assisting the North Burnaby community with legal needs, she enjoys riding her motorcycle, gardening and having a drink on a beach.

Sandy Norman

Sandy obtained her Legal Administrative Assistant and Paralegal Certificate from Vancouver Community College. She has over 30 years of experience working in various law firms and notaries' offices, primarily in conveyancing, including sales, purchases, refinances, private mortgages and manufactured homes. Sandy has been with Kinsey Walji Notaries for 18 years.

Sandy's quality of work is of the highest standard, and she prides herself in consistent, timely and professional transactions; while still conducting herself in a friendly, respectful and professional manner. Sandy is a hard-working individual who expects and displays high standards for herself and makes sound judgment decisions in her practice.

​

Sandy's responsibilities are not limited to the conveyancing practice. She manages staff training, accounting, and countless other matters. Sandy can allocate her time between these duties while maintaining a busy conveyancing practice.

​

When out of the office, Sandy enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs, Nova and Comet.

Miriam Raappana

​

Miriam is our conveyancer and bringer of joy to the office and our clients. She spent many years working at the Land Title Office in Victoria before she trained as a conveyancer. Her experience and knowledge from her days at Land Title Office have made her an invaluable wealth of information for our office as well as our clients.

​

When out of the office, Miriam enjoys reading on the dock and listening to music.

Nicole Hall

Nicole obtained her Certificate as Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate from Douglas College and gained work experience in litigation and will and estates before coming to Kinsey Walji Notaries. Before working in the legal field, Nicole obtained a Hospitality Management Diploma. Her experience in Hospitality and Legal Studies allows her to excel as our front-of-house staff. She takes pride in her work as well as in helping people navigate the legal field.

Nicole enjoys cooking, reading, and writing in her spare time.
